Our story

How Margarita began

We met through a shared fascination with the majesty of the water and decided to turn it into a life project: sailing the paradise of Guna Yala, among the more than 360 untouched islands that make up the San Blas archipelago.

Margarita, our Lagoon 42 catamaran, is the result of that decision: a sustainable catamaran and a team that is present in every detail.

Sergio Bernardo Cabeza

Captain

International training certified by ASA (American Sailing Association) in sail and power navigation, scuba diving instructor, and hands-on experience with international cuisine, from the cooking itself.

Nicolás Cabeza

Crew

Certified diver with wide experience in the water and in the kitchen.

Felipe Hoyos

Crew

Part of the crew and of the project since the very beginning, with water training, rescue skills and fitness knowledge that he brings on board. He shares the team’s fascination with the sea and looks after every guest so they feel cared for from start to finish.
